30-Day Returns. We want you to love every AyeGirl piece. If something isn't right, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange — no wave-drama, no hassle.

Overview

We stand behind the quality of everything we make. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we'll make it right. Our return window is 30 days from the date of delivery for most items. Returns must be initiated through our online returns portal.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Free of odors, stains, pet hair, and any signs of wear
  • With all original tags attached
  • In original packaging (if applicable)

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Final sale items (marked as such at time of purchase)
  • Items marked down 50% or more
  • Swimwear and underwear (for hygiene reasons) unless defective
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or custom-order items
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, follow these steps:

  1. Visit our Returns Portal at ayegirl.com/returns (or email us at returns@ayegirl.com)
  2. Enter your order number and the email address used at checkout
  3. Select the item(s) you wish to return and your reason
  4. Print the prepaid return label (if applicable) or ship at your own expense using a trackable carrier
  5. Pack the item(s) securely in their original packaging if possible
  6. Drop the package at your carrier of choice

Please retain your tracking number until your return has been processed and your refund or exchange has been confirmed.

Return Process & Timeframes

Once we receive your return at our warehouse, our team will inspect the item(s) within 3–5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been received and inspected.

  • Approved returns: Refund or exchange processed within 3–5 business days of inspection
  • Rejected returns: Items not meeting our return eligibility criteria will be sent back to you at your expense. We will contact you before doing so.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the credit:

  • Credit/Debit cards: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
  • PayPal: 3–5 business days
  • Shop Pay / Afterpay: Per the provider's refund policy

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product). If your order qualified for free shipping and you return part of it, bringing the order total below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.

We reserve the right to issue store credit in lieu of a monetary refund for items returned outside the 30-day window at our discretion.

Exchanges

We're happy to exchange eligible items for a different size or color within 30 days of delivery, subject to availability. To request an exchange, follow the same return initiation process and select "Exchange" as your reason.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your requested exchange item is unavailable, we will issue a full refund instead. We do not charge additional shipping for the first exchange on an order.

Sale & Final Sale Items

Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival. Regular sale items (discounts under 50%) remain eligible for return under our standard policy.

Items purchased during promotional events, flash sales, or with discount codes are eligible for return for store credit only, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at returns@ayegirl.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a free return and send a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping, at no cost to you.

Damage caused by normal wear, misuse, or improper care is not considered a product defect and is not covered under this policy.

International Returns

International customers (outside the United States) are welcome to return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. International return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees or duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.

Refunds for international orders will be issued in USD to the original payment method. Exchange rates and any bank-related currency conversion fees are the customer's responsibility.
